Many steel and wood bridges that were built in the seventies are now at the end of their lifetime. Bridges made from KLP® recycled plastics are an excellent solution as they are maintenance free, sustainable, durable and easy to clean. The material will last decades and painting is no longer an issue. Compared to wood the application of KLP® plastics is extremely safe: the material does not splinter and has up to twice the anti slip properties of wood, especially in wet weather circumstances. We produce decking parts for bridges that do not become slippery.
Our range offers the 'Snits' type (steel reinforced) and an arch bridge, both can be produced in various widths. Construction entirely consists of plastics based on the unique properties of our steel reinforced plastic beams. Both bridges can be supplied with an incidental load bearing capacity suitable for rescue vehicles to cyclists and pedestrians.
For the 'Snits' type (steel reinforced) a span of up to 5 meter is feasible. The arch bridge type is provided with a laminated steel reinforced arch which makes it possible to achieve a span of up to 12 metres! KLP® Bridges can be produced in the colours black, brown and white. KLP® Hand rails can also be supplied in the colour white.
As well as offering a complete range of component parts for constructions such as landings etc, we offer "design construct" a complete design engineering solution for which we have our own project managers with the right know-how. <read more>
